Each team is assigned a maximum of two adult ADVISORS - who are responsible to oversee team practices, events and overall team - administration.
Anyone interested in Advising must complete an Advisors application. Note: Advisors are selected by the Cheerleading Directorship and approved by the Sparta Youth Football & Cheer Board of Directors.
Advisors must attend all practices, games and events with the team.
In addition to ADVISORS each team is assigned a group of COACHES - who range from grades 6 - 12. The Coaches are responsible for teaching the cheers and/or routines which they create themselves. ALL coaches must attend mandatory training prior to the start of the season.
